ABC Solutions (UK) Ltd recently reached a significant milestone by celebrating its 20^th Birthday.

They were incorporated on Monday 16^th February 1998.

In the fit out, refurbishment and commercial office furniture business, many positive changes and developments have taken place over the last 20 years from the Nokia 3310 to iPhone X voice technology, PC’s to ‘devices’, huge desks to smaller hot desks and touchdown workstations, private offices to collaboration spaces, fluorescent lighting to LED; it’s amazing to reflect on change over a relatively recent period of time.

A few facts about 1998, the year of we set out on the ABC journey:

• The search engine GOOGLE was founded
• BMW bought Rolls Royce for $570m
• The EU agreed to a single currency, the Euro
• France beat Brazil 3:0 in the World Cup final, hosted by France
• Films released included Titanic, Saving private Ryan and Lethal weapon 4

Alan and Simon invited close colleagues past and present, to a champagne reception followed by dinner in Stratford-upon-Avon to mark the occasion.
