ABC have developed a policy of ‘Reduce, Reuse, Recycle’, adopted by all employees and staff, from contractors to board members. With everyone involved, we recycle as many waste materials as possible in both conventional and innovative ways.
All of our sites, no matter what the contract value, are run in line with Site Waste Management Plans (SWMP), a legal requirement only for projects over £300,000.
Wherever possible we work with our clients to dispose of furniture and fixings through a registered recycling channel for them to be used by schools, charities, etc or to be broken down into basic elements for recycling as fuel sources, steel recycling and for electrical components in accordance with the WEEE Regulations (Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment Directive)
Waste can be removed from sites in segregated skips to avoid mixing of waste materials and by registered waste carriers to licensed transfer stations.
We are constantly working with our supply chain to understand new technologies and innovations within our industry to ensure we pass this expertise onto our clients for the improvement of their current and future property portfolios.
